Riley Dawe is a 25 year old motorcycle rider from Toronto, Canada. His company, Hill Dawe Racing, was opened in 2009 and he is committed to promoting the sport of motorcycle racing. He has a dream of becoming a professional motorcycle rider and is well on his way to achieving this dream.

Men have enjoyed extreme sports for longer than anyone could have imagined. In ancient Mexico, Mayans played a game with a 9 pound rubber ball in which they beheaded the losers. In Rome soldiers made slaves play a game where they ran in front of elephants that carried men with spears; less than 2% survived. In Vanautu, still enjoy land diving; members attach a vine to their leg and jump from a one hundred foot high platform. Today, motorcycle racing is only one of many extreme sports including snowboarding and bungee jumping.

Many people enjoy riding the two wheeled, gas generated motorcycle. Bikes first appeared in the late 1880s and people started racing them over one hundred years ago. There are numerous amateur and professional races. Motocross, Superbike Racing, and Ice Speedway are just a few. The last group, Superbikes, are production bikes that have been modified; this is where Dawe competes. Many other racing bikes are prototypes made specifically for the sport. Because Superbikes are modified motorcycles many companies sponsor them include them in their advertising budget.

Riders come from everywhere to compete at the Superbike World Championship, the premier race for Superbike riders. Riley has been competing as an amateur in these races at the Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) over the last several years. The CSBK is an official part of Superbike competitions, and in fact, is their Canadian partner. They are devoted to making certain that all of the fans, and the riders, have a thrilling time. Of course, they are equally concerned that everyone is safe.

Riley has been a biker for many years and competed in his first Superbike race in 2009; that year he placed 13th in Novice 600. A few years later he raced for an amazing 2nd place finish in the amateur level of the Superbike races. The races were held at the Shannonville Motorsport Park in Ontarios. This is certainly a remarkable accomplishment for this gifted new rider.

Riley has a dedicated team including Brian Dawe, his father. Mr. Dawe is a key figure of the Hill Dawe racing team. He is the chief engineer and makes sure the bikes, and his son, are always in tip top shape. Riley also credits Jim Hill as being integral in his success.

Riley had the engine rebuilt on his 2009 Yamaha R6 In 2013. He also bought a 2012 BMW S1000RR so that he could compete in another level event. He decided to compete in the MOPAR CSBK National Series in two amateur classes; the AM 600 and AM Superbike. Succeeding these two championships would easily identify him as the guy to beat. Serious choices for a formidable and motivated young man.

Riley Dawe is clearly a determined and motivated racer. His fast rise in the amateur circuits shows that he is someone to watch. He certainly has proved to be an exciting figure in Toronto where he shares his love of motorcycle racing with thousands of fans.
