Being left breathless when taking a vacation is what a vacation is all about. It's coming to know a land and its people when visiting. Canada is one country that can leave people in awe, and more particularly, holidays in British Columbia will leave you totally breathless.

The Rocky Mountain Range provides a beautiful backdrop to many of the cities and towns. These mountains also provide visitors and residents with incredible winter sports activities. Thankfully, a lot of the province is also blessed with comfortable temperature is year-round. So, it's a great holiday destination in many ways, including its coastal scenery.

The truth is, you won't be bored visiting this province. There's always something to do and something to see. In fact, you can even catch a few glimpses of whales and dolphins in the Pacific Ocean. You also get to enjoy a good part of the province which is 60% forested and three quarters of it is mountainous!

If you are interested in some fun adventurers, then this is the place to go. Whether you're interested in biking, hiking, any kind of skiing or snow boarding, water sports like scuba diving or sailing, white water rafting, and the like, you will never be bored. And, this is regardless of the season, there is always something interesting and fun to do.

Even for those who aren't the adventurous type, this province can offer you lots when it comes to sightseeing. You can choose from the different islands that provide breathtaking views. It's an ideal location for amateur or professional photographers and artists to be inspired by the incredible natural beauty.

It's true that there is a whole world to explore that has all kinds of beautiful places. It's sad to say that most of us won't get to see much of it because of our responsibilities and the lack of the financial comfort that is required in order to travel so much. But, it's important to do all that you can to see what the world has to offer.
