Big things have bigger impact. Therefore, they should not be taken for granted. Smaller details may not have the same amount of impact. But this does not mean that they cannot do something. If added with the right messaging and strategy, a collective small info can already do a lot. Seasoned marketers know about this and are keen in making sure that even the smallest material that their company uses is created well.

One of the accessories by which messaging is seen is through business cards. In hotels, they can be applied on the hotel key card sleeves. Yes they are not the main focus. After all, they only act as a support to the main material. Still, this does not mean that you can already take it for granted.

This material cannot be distributed outside the building. It is used to access hotel rooms. Sleeves may be a simple accessory and may not be a priority. Still, since its the first thing that the clients see when they receive the key card, then making sure that it looks good and have strategic presentation is important. Here are some of the considerations.

Size of the sleeve. First thing you have to think about is how bit the size of the material is. Check the size of the cards that you have and make a sleeve that is at least one half size bigger than it. This will allow users to easily slid it in when they are not using it.

Appropriate paper. There are different choices of paper at present. Some of them are thicker than the others. There are also products that are glossy while others have a rougher touch. All of these are good options. But you need to choose something that will look good on the design that you want it to have.

Logo. Whether you are deciding the size or thinking of the design, one thing that you should always keep in mind is the logo and where you can place it. It should be located in the part of the sleeve that can easily be seen. The usal positioning is the center front of it. Although there are those who choose to place it in one corner or at the back portion.

Design. This can be tricky if you are not a designer yourself. The sleeve can be as simple as plain white with few information, or as colorful as it can be using the outer photo of the hotel as the main background. No matter what design you choose, just make sure that it does not steal away the attention from the most important part of the sleeve.

Free space. This is the area on the sleeve, usually at the back which remain blank. If you are going for a white background, then placing something in here can be of benefit. You can insert some friendly guidelines or even a short detail of a special event that is conducted by the hotel for the guests.

Accessories may have minimal impact on the marketing strategy of the company. But when done right, it can sure do something to somehow promote the service. Do not miss the chance to get some message across your guests. Use the sleeve wisely as an avenue to reach out to them.
