Shisha flavors

By John McCree

Are you looking for a good shisha flavor? In this post, we will talk about how you can find and buy the right kind of shisha flavor for yourself.

The flavorful tobacco, which is typically used in a hookah is commonly called shisha. Following are the ingredients, which are found in shisha these days:

1. Tobacco

2. Treacle (uncrystallized syrup produced in refining sugar)

3. Honey

4. Sugar

5. Molasses

6. Glycerin

7. Nicotine

8. Dried Fruit

9. Distilled Water

The hookah smokers prefer the popular fruity flavors like apple, banana or mango. However, there are tons of new and creative flavors available in the market for example Starbuzz's "Blue Mist". Many of the new flavors use a fruit flavor as the base. For instance, Blueberry Muffin or Pink Lemonade clearly have their roots in a fruity base.

There are many different shisha flavors available nowadays because it is quite simple to add flavors during the manufacturing. Unique flavors are made because basically every ingredient can be mixed in dried, tobacco, glycerin and sweetener.

Social Smoking

Hookah is usually shared in a social environment where the smokers may gather for friendly conversation and to enjoy the aroma created by the flavored shisha smoke. As hookahs grew in popularity through the Middle East hundreds of years ago, it became common to see them in eating and drinking establishments. One can easily find hookahs in nightclubs, smoking parlors, hookah bars and even in homes nowadays.

The smoke from shisha has a soothing effect on the smoker, which is one of the many reasons why it became popular quickly. As a contrast to cigarettes, hookah smoking is done more as a social pursuit and for the flavor, instead of for any kind of biological impact. Cigarettes on the other hand are addictive and provide a quick fix with a very high dose of nicotine. While a hookah session lasts longer than a cigarette, the former is not addictive for the smoker.

Getting the Most Flavor from Your Hookah

If you wish to improve your hookah experience, then you just have to follow a few basic acts of common sense. The first and most essential thing is to clean your device routinely. Rinse your hookah with warm soapy water following every use, or at least wash it thoroughly in between switching brands or flavors.

If you want to have a smooth smoking session then you need to prevent the charcoal from burning up the tobacco during the session. This can be done by maintaining some distance between the foil and tobacco. While you are packing the bowl, be sure the tobacco is at least a few millimeters below the rim of the bowl. This way, when you will wrap the aluminum foil on the top of the rim, there will be distance between the foil and tobacco. Another technique you can use to maintain distance between foil and the tobacco is to put two toothpicks in cross on the tobacco. Additionally, while "packing" the bowl, don't pack the tobacco down tightly. Rather, loosely pile it into a fine mound allowing the air to go through the mound. Doing this, you will be able to get a flavorful hit without needing to strongly puff on the hose. If desired you may also use two sheets of foil to help prevent against overheating. The specific game here is: KEEP IT CLEAN AND DON'T BURN THE SHISHA!
