Their daily duties are also highly involving as they require long hours of attendance.

Team player. As the captain, you will be required to work with other persons. This includes the engineers and the others who help in the running of the ship. This requires much teamwork. You should also be friendly and open minded towards the other crew members so as to ensure unity among them.

Courage is also needed. It is only a person who is courageous enough can be able to serve in such a position. Everything about it requires courage. Decisions to be made involves courage. Ability to control themselves. If you do not have the key to your emotions, you cannot manage this position. You must be a person who can control anger and have the ability to keep your emotions in check.
